New Media Projects

It all started with an Apple IIc. Well, not really. To be true, I started writing with two Olivetti machines, first a typewriter with a small built-in display, then later an Olivetti proprietary word processing computer, the Olivetti ETS something. But since both were just meant for writing, and not for making spreadsheets or even gaming, I don't consider them personal computers as we know them today.

So, it really all started with a Macintosh, my second Apple Computer, the Mac SE.

From then it was clear to me that I not only like to work with a computer (especially with a Macintosh) but that I'm interested in the digital culture too.

So, whenever I had a writer's block I just learned a little more about computing. And eventually I started working in this business too:

• 1996 and 1997: Freelance writer Macintosh Shoftware and Internet for "Macworld Switzerland" and the computer section of "Tages-Anzeiger"
